Advanced Composition (aka Junior English)
Every undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas is also required to take and pass ENGL 2003, a three-hour course in composition, unless exemption can be gained in one of the following ways:- by demonstrating a satisfactory writing ability on the Junior English Examination,
- by completing ENGL 2013 (Essay Writing) or,
- by achieving a grade of "A" or "B" in ENGL 1013 and a grade of "A" in ENGL 1023, both courses taken at the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville).
Students not gaining exemption from ENGL 2003 must register for the course before the last semester of their senior year. ENGL 2003 may not be transferred into the University of Arkansas Fayetteville.
